Anoopcast began in April of 2009 when fans of the American Idol contestant Anoop Desai watched on as the contestant was voted off the show. Since that time, his fans have been rallying behind him and giving him more support than ever.

Sarah came up with the idea one day, and started to recruit people on the American Idol forums to help her with this project. It has been going on ever since.

Our first episode was released in late May of 2009.

We are now coming on even stronger, being uploaded in places such as iTunes and podcast alley.

Episodes come out weekly for the most part, and they tend to be about an hour in length.
There  is  random fun mixed in the show! Our goal for the moment is to get Anoop as much exposure as possible to ensure that he signs a recording contract.

We also hope he'll listen and know how much we love him from week to week.

As of July 16, 2009 we've moved from our old free website at www.anoopcast.webs.com to this new domain.

Throughout the summer, we had various live buscasts, and got several shout outs from nine out of ten of the idols, including Anoop (we're missing Adam, yet we got Blake Lewis. Go figure)!

We've done various cellcasts for Anoop's solo performances, so you can count on those from us in the future!

Amazingly unbelievable but in more recent months, Anoop has recognized us and has been even willing to interact with us. So sweet and he doesn't have to do it, so we love him forever for it!
